Review: Bumble and bumble Surf Spray

Bumble and bumble Surf Spray

At Glossip Girl, we are kind of obsessed with supermodels – stalking Chrissy Teigen on Instagram is one of our favourite pastimes. From their killer bodies, to their chic fashion sense, these stunning women seem to have it all. The thing we covet the most? Their laidback, just-out-of-bed waves. Since practically everyone and their mother raves about Bumble and bumble’s salt-infused Surf Spray, we decided to give it a try to see whether our locks could achieve supermodel status.

The spray comes in a cool, matte black bottle with turquoise and yellow lettering. We absolutely love how edgy and trendy the packaging looks. The nozzle makes it easy to dispense the product straight on to our hair.

Bumble and bumble Surf Spray

The instructions state that this product can be applied to both dry and damp locks, so we tried it out both ways. The mist went on colourlessly and weightlessly, and had a fun, beachy scent to it. Our thick mid-length hair required about 5-6 spritzes to cover it evenly. For maximum volume, spray this product on your roots too.

The results? Unarguably amazing! On dry hair, this spray amped up our volume like no other. However, on damp tresses, this product produces miracles. Once we let our hair air dry, we were left with tousled, bouncy surfer girl waves. We cannot get over the fact that unlike most salt sprays, this one gave us waves without any crunch. On the downside, this salt spray should be avoided by those with dry hair, as it can dry them out further.

For sexy, beachy waves that last all day long, try out this fantastic spray. John Legend, we are waiting for you to serenade us.
