However, Biore’s Self Heating One Minute Mask promises to deliver flawless skin, within a minute. Obviously being the impatient beauty addicts that we are, we had to try it out! Here are our thoughts.
Formulated with charcoal (our favourite ingredient) and zeolite, this mask aims to deep clean skin and purify pores. Zeolite warms up skin to open up pores, while charcoal acts as a dirt magnet.
The product comes in a box, containing 4 sealed sachets. Each sachet is intended to be a single use mask, but contains a ton of product! We had enough to cover our face in a thick layer and some more for our neck.
The mask itself is a bluish-grey, thick liquid. We massaged it onto our damp skin and enjoyed the warming effect. The texture is slightly gritty to help with exfoliation. After about a minute, we rinsed it off. The result? Icy cold, tingly skin! After we got over the (pleasant!) shock of contrasting temperatures, we noticed that our skin looked brighter and felt smoother.
We’ve been using this mask once a week, since the past 2 months and honestly, we are obsessed! The hot and cold sensation is addictive, and our skin looks radiant and refreshed. The mask gets bonus points for decreasing the oil production on our T-zone! The only downside is that the application and rinsing does get a bit messy.
