Review: John Frieda Frizz Ease Dream Curls Air-Dry Waves Styling Foam

John Frieda Frizz Ease Dream Curls Air-Dry Waves Styling Foam

When you do something, do it with your full heart! That’s exactly why we decided to take our ‘no heat styling’ challenge during the summer. What does this challenge entail? No flat irons, no curling wands and *gasp* no hair dryers for an entire month! As daunting as it sounds, we knew that there was no what better way to see how our hair behaves than in peak humidity season. As a part of our challenge, we decided to test out different hair to products to see which ones can actually keep the frizz in control. So, here is our review of John Frieda’s Frizz Ease Dream Curls Air-Dry Waves Styling Foam (what a mouthful!).

The product comes in a silver plastic bottle with a purple cap. The pump dispenser makes it easy to get the required amount of foam. We love the no-fuss, lightweight packaging as we can carry it around easily.

As per instructions, we spread the foam throughout our wet hair. Since our hair tends to be on the longer side, we required 3 pumps of the product. Unlike other styling products, you can apply this one on your roots too. The foam felt airy and light, and went on smoothly without leaving a sticky residue. Post application, we scrunched our hair and left it to air dry.

An hour later, we were left impressed. Usually, air drying gives our hair a halo of frizz and limp waves. Due to this product, our hair took on a tousled, wavy appearance minus any signs of frizz. Despite the soaring temperatures, our waves stayed defined and soft. An added bonus? People couldn’t stop commenting on how touchable and effortless our hair looked!

Weightless, non-sticky and totally effective, this styling foam is a healthier alternative than daily heat styling. Those who have naturally wavy or curly hair, will definitely see an improvement in texture. So, put down your hair dryer and give your arms a rest – air drying is officially trending.
