5 Steps To An Amazing Driver's License Photograph!

For a document that’s stuck with us for the rest of our life, it’s pretty humiliating to see a picture of you looking like a sleep-deprived maniac every time you pull out your license. We aren’t suggesting that you deck out like a model (bye-bye contouring!), but the least we can do is give you a few tips to make you look like the pretty girl that you actually are!

Step One:

Whether it’s a passport snap or a driver’s license, chances are that you will be shot under white lighting. This means that all your skin problems will be in the spotlight. Dot a creamy concealer over your acne and dark circles, and blend away.

Step Two:

Another downside of white light, is that it makes your skin look pale and ghost-like. Warm up your complexion with a rosy blush.

Step Three:

We don’t know if it’s just us, but our eyes always look tiny on our license. The culprit? Black liner. Open up your peepers with a metallic amber eyeshadow. For maximum effect, apply a coat of black mascara.

Step Four:

Save your red lipstick for the night. Use soft pinks or sheer berry lipsticks to enhance your natural pout.

Step Five:

Ever noticed how your T-Zone looks like an oil factory? Use blotting wipes just before taking your picture, to sop up any grease. Skip the translucent powder as flash photography can make it look cakey.

How easy are these steps? Now all you have to do is smile!
